Pigs give off varying amounts of carbon dioxide depending
on number, weight, activity, health status and feed conversion; this varies
over the course of 24 hours.
If the ventilation rate is wrong, heating will also be
wrong and the air quality will be suboptimal, leading to a depression in
productivity and increased risk of disease outbreak. To hear more about CO2
